The actual technological frontier of geotechnologies is represented by the effort of transitioning from a 2D carthographic representation to a 3D modelling of the terrain and it's associated natural and man made features. This is not just a technical commitment but a great commercial challenge as well.

Air Data has committed in a tight cooperation with Intermap Technologies Inc. www.intermap.com , the leading multi-national corporation specialized in the extensive 3D mapping of the terrain, using the interferometric radar technology, IFSAR (InterFerometric Syntetic Aperture Radar). Two huge projects, representing a milestone in the mapping business and keen to reshape this market, are under way:

• NEXTMap USA 3D homogeneous mapping of all of the 52 States of the USA
• NEXTMap Europe 3D homogeneous mapping of the entire Western Europe

NEXTMap Italia program is strictly followed and supported by Air Data. Our cooperation with Intermap Technology ranges from the technical support for data acquisition to the commercial commitment, with special attention to the development of nation wide Value Added Products.
